Sweet Summertime!

It's summer! Well, not officially, but it was the last day of school for me! I would be lying if I felt like it actually was the last day - for some reason it just didn't feel like it today. I am sad to see this bunch of 8th graders go; they were a really great group, and I will miss them next year. I think maybe on Friday I will feel more like it's summer break, but right now it hasn't sunk in yet. I also am excited since this weekend my friend Rachel and I are taking a trip to Omaha to see Taylor Swift again! I can't wait - hopefully this time my camera doesn't die and I can get some really great pictures of her!

Maybe one of the reasons it doesn't feel like it's summer yet is because things have been so crazy lately. With Brother graduating and running at state track, as well as Josh and I just being plain busy, things have been crazy. We also went to the Bon Jovi concert a few weeks ago - it was great! He rocked from 8:00-10:30ish with no opening act, straight Bon Jovi! Lots of fun!


Then Andy, Laura, & Kayden came down for the weekend. She's getting SO SO big! She just turned 10 months old - lots of teeth & lots of personality. She's pretty great :)



Alex is also gone in Ireland, but before she left we had a lot of fun. I really can't wait to spend the whole summer with her, it's going to be a blast.


Also on a side note, the CMB boys shuttle hurdle team won 1st place at state AND set a new state record on Saturday! So that's great news for the CMB community and we're all very proud of them! Hopefully with more time I'll be able to update more, but I bet it'll just seem like I'm even more busy! I'll try and post some pictures after the Taylor Swift concert and I hope everyone has a safe Memorial weekend - love you all! xoxo

80's prom!

This past weekend we had an 80's themed party bus for mine and Robin's birthdays and it was a BLAST to say the least! We had a lot of fun and everyone looked great!

It was seriously a great time and we all had a lot of fun! We went a couple of bars and did some karaoke and dancing as well, it was a good night. :) Only 3 weeks of school left and this is my last week of track...summer will be here before we know it!
